Abstract/Overview

PowerPoint 2007 is a desktop presentation program that turns your ideas into professional, convincing presentations. You can create slides with text, graphics, charts, even sound and video, then display it as a slide show, print transparencies, print a book, or publish to the web or CD.
This course is the second of three one-day sessions that cover all of the features in PowerPoint 2007 in a series of hands-on tutorials. This second session helps you develop your full abilities with PowerPoint. It goes far beyond the basics to give you the skills to build and manage professional live and web-based presentations.

Audience - Who Should Attend?

Anyone who needs to create fully-featured, professional presentations that can be delivered live, or packaged for web or CD delivery.

Prerequisite

You should be familiar with the Office 2007 environment and have some experience creating presentations in PowerPoint or a similar product.

Objective

By the end of this module, you will be able to:
·         Format your presentation using PowerPoint 2007 features like Slide Masters and Document Themes, to add backgrounds, headers & footers and bulleted or numbered lists
·         Add impact to your presentations with Clip Art, graphics and shapes. Insert, size, format, position, group and layer all sorts of objects and apply special effects
·         Display just about anything in a table. Apply built-in table styles or take full control of row and column size, borders, shading and cell merging and splitting
·         Get your message across clearly with a wide variety of Charts and SmartArt. Create your own SmartArt diagrams from your text and slides
·         Keep your presentations interesting by applying slide transitions and animations
·         Add and control multimedia content such as audio and video clips, whole CD tracks, even custom slideshow narration
·         Allow viewers to interact with your presentation, using Action Buttons
·         Setup your slideshow for presenter- or unattended delivery, rehearse timings and finalize your presentation
·         Present with confidence, using the Presenter View and making pen annotations
