History

Information Balance was established in 1988 as an IT consultancy to provide professional consulting services to the IBM mainframe marketplace. Formed in 1989, IB-Learning provides both technical and soft skills training in an evolving marketplace and workforce. The Company’s growth has been fuelled by the deliberate and continuous development of core competencies in response to industry and market evolution.

Today, Information Balance is a well established Information Technology and Learning provider with ongoing professional relationships with many large corporations and government organizations. IB-Learning is the dedicated training division of Information Balance and has offices in Toronto and Ottawa. We provide learning solutions through a variety of courses offered from our own IB-Learning curriculums, through customized courses or our corporate training partners to precisely fit your requirements. 

Services and Highlights

IB-Learning offers courses developed and delivered by professionals. Our premiere curriculum, Business Analysis/Information Modeling, has provided in depth training for over twenty years. We have been recognized and awarded Endorsed Education Provider status through the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) since 2007, and continue to expand and update this curriculum with courses that map to the most current version of BABOK.

Our Software Testing curriculum provides the tools to complete testing effectively and quickly. Our instructors are certified with the QAI (Quality Assurance Institute) and will certify our software testing courses through the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) for Foundations level.
